College, Among Other Things

You know, I wasn't worried about being accepted to college. But being accepted to the college with the college.... that's another story. Ugh. Okay. So I want to apply to the graphic design program at BYU, right? Well, I was talking with Francis and he was saying that the competition is REALLY tough. And not because it's such a great program -- it's fine -- but that there are so many people wanting to get in because IT'S UTAH. They want to get into BYU.

So there's a whole 'nother application process, there will be constant portfolio reviews, there will be.... You know, what I think I'll do is to major in Graphic Design but minor in Business - Management.

I want to...
a) not be self-employed
b) work for a company, preferably not a small graphic design firm
c) eventually work my way up the corporate ladder to become...
d) an art director, creative manager
e) maybe an advertising agency? could I do that? or someone's in-house art department. i'd rather work for one company with one product (or line of products) than one that services a lot of other companies.

Well, there goes college, among other things.

Now I need to write a paper. Also college.
